DARWIN KIDS MARKET 

The Darwin Kids Market is a collective group of small businesses and community groups that come together to activate vacant shop fronts and community spaces within Darwin.

All of the businesses that participate in our event live and work within the local \community just like you and me. When we stand alone as businesses we are just a small part of the community but by coming together we bring you a large range of products and services that will see you through the journey of pregnancy, babies and life in the top end.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A SITE

Zuccoli Market – Every second Saturday in the dry season.

SITE FEES

Zuccoli Market $25

Your fee covers the purchase of your stall. All stall holders are required to bring everything else they require to trade on the day.

PAYMENT FOR YOUR STALL

Once successful you will be sent an invoice via PayPal.

CANCELLATIONS

If you have a stall booked with Darwin Kids Market and you will no longer be able to attend please notify us as soon as possible by email admin@darwinkidsmarket.com.au

Fees will not be refunded if you advise us of your cancellation within 14 days of the day of the market.

Fees will not be refunded if you do not turn up on market day.

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

All stallholders must hold a current Certificate of Currency for Public Liability. A copy of your Certificate of Currency must be given to Darwin Kids Market via email  prior to the market day. A copy of your insurance can be sent to admin@darwinkidsmarket.com.au

FOOD STALLS

Stall holders selling food must comply with the Food Act 2003 and the Food Standard Code. Please send your current food handling certficate to admin@darwinkidsmarket.com.au

YOUR PRODUCTS

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you conform to any Australian Standards (ACCC) pertaining to your products.  Darwin Kids Market will not be held accountable for any trademark, copyright or safety infringement.

  • You must have read and understood the mandatory safety standards applicable to your products and labelling.  You can check this at http:/www.accc.gov.au.

  • You are responsible for the security of your products and Darwin Kids Market holds no responsibility for any damage or loss of product.

  • You take full responsibility for your products, props, and other resources while in transit.

  • Darwin Kids Market does not hold any responsibility for product damage, personal injury, stolen items, customer returns/credits or shop cash flow.

MARKET DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Be considerate of other stallholders and help where you can.

  • Raffle tickets may not be sold unless pre-approved by Darwin Kids Market.

  • Darwin Kids Market accepts no responsibility for damages to persons or goods

  • Each stallholder is to clean area and remove rubbish from their site.

  • All stalls must be safely displayed and signs are to be confined to the stall site and pathways must be kept clear for patrons.

  • Markets are advertised on our facebook page  Stallholders must remain available to customers until the advertised time has finished unless they have sold all their goods, an emergency occurs or prior arrangements have been made.

  • All vehicles must be removed parked away from the venue to allow room for our customers to park their cars.

  • All vendors must comply with appropriate labelling regulations and acquire the necessary licenses or permits for selling or producing their products.
